Flaxseed oil is the second most discussed oil in Europe after olive oil; in medical and nutrition papers for its recognized nutrition and is also the richest vegetarian source of Omega-3 fatty acids.

According to the World Health Organization recommends that pregnant women should be supplemented with 1300 mg Ω3 daily as α-linolenic acid can produce up to 16 positive effects on pregnant women, such as controlling gene expression, optimize genetics cause, transport cellular materials, control nutrients into cells, affect the growth and development of fetal brain cells, improve nervous system function, improve IQ, enhance vision and promote physical growth.

Flaxseed oil is rich in amino acids, polysaccharides, vitamin E, flavonoids, lignans, non-saponins and trace element of minerals. Flaxseed contains up to 800x more lignans than other plant foods, which have shown promising effects in reducing growth of cancerous tumors, especially hormone-sensitive types such as those of the breast, prostate and endometrium.

Usage

Flaxseed oil is the most affordable and better-tasting oil in omega-3 vegetable oils. Due to the smoke point of lower than 100 °C, it cannot be used for heating or cooking. It can be consumed in the following ways:

1. Consume directly, tastes better than olive oil, about 5-10cc each time.
2. As salad dressing for fruits and vegetables, add a little seasoning and it tastes even better.
3. On toast or French bread; add in to cut apples, oranges or bananas, etc. to increase nutrient absorption and flavour. 
4. Add to coffee, milk, cereal, juice, soy milk, etc; in hot drinks or beverages.
5. Take 1 part of cold soy milk + 3 parts of flaxseed oil + sufficient amount of lemon juice, sugar, salt, to make salad dressing, healthy and delicious.
6. Mix with cooked rice; after rice is cooked, add flaxseed oil and stir well, cover for 5 minutes to increase its flavour and taste.

《亚麻仁油食用與使用方法》

亚麻仁油是Ω3类植物油中最平价,也是口味最佳的油品,但发烟点低于100,谨记不可下锅炒菜或高温调理。可以下列方式食用:

  1. 直接喝,味道不亚于冷压橄榄油,每次约5-10cc左右。
  2. 佐拌蔬果沙拉,再加一点和风沙拉酱,味道美极了。
  3. 沾吐司或法国面包;沾苹果、橘子、香蕉…等水果,增加营养吸收和风味。
  4. 加在咖啡、牛奶、麦片粥、果汁、豆浆…等热饮或饮料中。
  5. 以1份冰豆浆+3份亚麻仁油+适量柠檬汁、糖、盐,打成沙拉酱,健康又美味。
  6. 拌饭:饭煮熟后,加入亚麻仁油,搅拌均匀,再盖上闷5分钟,可增加饭香和口感。
  7. 200克优格+15ml亚麻仁油,搅拌均匀,清晨空腹食用,这是巴德维的抗癌食谱。
